For an experience of the Italy we Americans see in the movies, this is the place. It's a lovely little vine covered hotel set on a cobblestone backstreet near the heart of everything trendy and near the famed, Spanish Steps." Our room overlooked the street. We looked over the tables set outside the restaurants that line the street. The little... More

We stayed for 5 nights, the room at first floor was spacious and nice, the bed a bit hard but ok. We had a room with street view and was surprised of how little noice there was at nigth, the restaurants on the street closed at 11-11:30. Friendly and helpful staff, small breakfast room but ok breakfast. Really close to... More

I spent 4 nights here Thanksgiving Week 2012 with my sister, brother, niece and nephew. The staff couldn't be nicer, the rooms were clean, quiet and spacious and the included breakfast was ample. All this for under $150 a night. Located just a few blocks from the Spanish Steps it was a great base for our exporation of Rome. The... More

My partner and I stayed here for two nights and we found it average. We had a deluxe room, but , although spacious, it was dark and dull and the bathroom was tiny. We were at the back of the hotel and had noise from air conditioning fans and from the elevator. We did asked to change, but the room... More

This was our first trip to Rome (Oct 2012). The hotel is located around the corner from the Spanish Steps and is an easy walk to Trevi Fountain. The room was clean and quiet (second floor). Breakfast was European (Rolls, cereal and coffee) but is certainly adequate to start the day. Although it was October the weather was warm. The... More

This is the 4th time I have stayed here and the 5th for my husband over a 12 year period. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Rome, the price and location is just too good. Comfortable bed, compact bathroom (though I wonder why they put those ridiculous massage showers in such a small cubicle). Breakfast was good too. I highly recommend... More

My husband, 23 year old son and I just returned from a 5 night stay at this wonderful establishment. This was our first trip to Italy, much less Rome. We will DEFINITELY return to Hotel Piazza di Spagna for any and all future trips. The location was ideal. There are a multitude of fantastic restaurants on the street. All the... More

Stayed here for the location. Right around the corner from the Spanish Steps and Spagna Metro station, which was useful for a 3 stop route to the Vatican City, 1 or 2 euros one way. It's an easy walk to the Trevi Fountain and also the Pantheon, approx. 10mins. The Roman Forum and Coloseum and Vittorio Emmanuelle II monument (aka... More
