We arrived a bit before check-in at 14.00 so we had to sit in the bar area. Seems like it's in need of an update of the furnitures and walls. It was probably renovated some 10 years ago and all a bit worn down. Around 14.15 we got our room and it was very nice. Good size, clean, refrigerator, AC,... More

Dear Sir/Madam, thank you for your review. Our staff appreciate it so much. About wifi service, it's always free of charge if you book your stay throughout our official website (it's a plus we offer to those guests who make reservation directly with us), while it may be not free if you book your room on other sites or travel... When I booked I initially had a problem with my credit card after giving them the correct one they didn't respond to my emails asking if everything was ok. The night before we were to arrive I had to call and I was told that he had been too busy to respond to my email. I was worried at what... More

When we arrived at the door we got the smell of pee. We had a problem with our booking - they denied receiving a phone call.As time went on we could understand what had happened. There are so many different guys on reception they obviously do not pass on the relevant information to each other and do not update their... More

What shall I say about this review? Of course I’m not happy to read that and I’m not agreed with, but first of all have to apologize for our failure to satisfy our guests during their stay. We always work hard to get this aim, but this time we failed. It doesn’t matter if the guests pretended to have cancelled... More

We had cancelled one room in the hotel a few days before we arrived they denied any knowledge of our telephone conversation but thanks to Booking.com they sorted the problem for us. The two men on reception that day were arrogant and not a bit helpful. The carpet in our room was filthy the lift did not work two nights... More

Excellent value, reasonably well located smallish hotel within easy walk of Termini & Castro Pretorio metro stations. We received a very warm welcome from Franco (has worked there 15 years which says a lot about the atmosphere there). Breakfast, although still a basic 'continental' better than most we've had anywhere in Italy, incl much bigger/dearer hotels... again friendly staff and... More

The hotel has a great location, and the staff was awesome. Very helpful and nice, rare for Italians! The room was elegant and beautiful. We got an amazing deal by reserving last minute!!! Saved about $45 per night! So nedleless to say it was a great value for the money. There is a dry-clean shop on the same street a... More

The hotel is in a neighborhood that must beone of the safest in Rome, The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The rooms are average size for a European hotel, very clean and the open gage lift and the marble floors gave us a feeling that we were staying in the history of Rome. The Montecarlo is a 3... More

Highly recommend this small hotel. The room and the bathroom were very clean. The location is good, 40 minutes walk to the main attractions. Close to the train station. Breakfast was excellent! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We took a room for 4, a bit small but normal size to most of Rome hotels I stayed before. More

We chose this hotel as we needed somewhere near the main train station and it was only a 10 min walk. We only stayed one night but found the hotel very welcoming and clean. It offered free wifi which was great. In the morning we had to leave before the breakfast hours commenced and yet they still provided us with... More

We stayed at this hotel on our last night out of Italy. We wanted something close to the Termini and with accessible places to sight see and eat. This hotel has a great location; and is in a nice quiet part of town. Very friendly, helpful and courteous reception and staff including Roberto. Easy access from the Termini and from... More
