This is a great hotel with just the right size room and extremely helpful and friendly service. hats off to Roberto and Anna for making our stay in Rome perfect. it is a busy city if you are coming from small town Alaska and the hotel allows one to relax, sleep and then venture forth and walk everywhere. Only cab... More

We would stay here again. Great location, spacious rooms, good, friendly service........ A bonus was classical music drifting up from the opera school on the level below. More

We stayed at Hotel Oceania for 4 nights in December and it was perfect. The staff were very helpful. The rooms were warm, clean, and comfortable. The location is ideal. You are very near a metro stop, not far from the main train station, and good restaurants are nearby. I would stay there again without question. More

Can't say enough about this hotel; Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and large spacious bathrooms. There is a nice patio with free wifi, where you can sit back and enjoy a glass of wine or an expresso after a long day of touring. The staff are all personable, they are helpful and speak english. Breakfast was great, they serve good rolls,... More

A great place to stay, with pretty and spacious rooms, nice sitting room, great breakfast room, Internet, very helpful staff who speak fluent English (especially Roberto). Very central, just around the corner from the Metro. We’d go back in a minute. Highly recommended. More

Have to say what a lovely gem this was :) after a day of walking the town... Kicking back on the second floor patio either chatting with other travelers or enjoying the Italian opera floating up from the rehearsal studio below... with a nice cold beer ... Just fab:) would stay here again for sure. More

The location was perfect for travel in and around Rome -- near the metro and train station making visits to the major sites easy and rapid. The Hotel staff is friendly, helpful, and very professional. Our stay was a joy. More

Taking Rick Steeve's advice, we stayed at the Oceania for four nights in Oct 2011. The hotel is four flights up (a creaky elevator gets your luggage there); so be prepared for some muscle-toning climbs. The staff was very friendly and the room clean. Rome is noisy at night and if you want the window open, you will hear the... More

Lovely autentico, charming. Here are just some of the staff names - Anna, Daniel, Daniela, Roberto, Patrizia - and they are all wonderful, helpful, and friendly. The layout is so unique, and because other businesses and residences share the building with Hotel Oceania, there is a feeling that you are actually living in Roma. The building is connected to a... My friend and I arrived in Rome without the third member of our party (she was flying standby and had to wait until the next day to leave the United States) who had actually reserved our room and the only one of us that had ever been to Europe. I was, to say the least, more than a little anxious... More
