I have never taken the time to write a review but our stay at Nicolas Inn was so perfect that I had to write a review. My wife and I went to Rome for our 20th anniversary. We wanted a nice central place that was a good bargain but still a comfortable feel. We wanted to be able to walk... More

Francois and Melissa were excellent hosts. They truly made us feel welcome and comfortable for our first stay in the Eternal City. Melissa, originally from Chicago, was helpful with tips to navigate through the city and gave excellent recommendations for restaurants. Nicolas Inn was walking accessible to many historical sites and was clean and private. What a great find!

The Nicolas Inn was our first stop on our honeymoon and it was fantastic! Melissa & Francios were great hosts offering great advice on where to eat and things to see. Francois took us down for breakfast the first time and introduced us to the owners of the cafe. 30minute walk to Vatican City, 10minutes to the Colosseum and 15... More

Location is great. We walked all over the city. There was a super little restaurantaround the corner and gelato across the street. The most famous sites are just minutes away. The room was large and comfortable.

The Nicolas Inn bed and breakfast is small - only 4 rooms- so I felt blessed they had a room available for me. The Inn is recommended by Rick Steve's and he did not steer me wrong! I had a wonderful experience during my 2 day stay. The rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable with a private bathroom in... More

Perfect for a weekend trip to Rome. We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts are super nice and very helpful. The location is simply the best. Price is very reasonable. Very clean. The Inn only has 4 rooms - I feel quite lucky to have gotten a room! Highly recommend. (Stayed at the highly rated Hotel Barocco near Barberini during... More

My wife and I enjoyed our four night stay at Nicolas Inn. The location of the Inn is close to the Colosseum and within walking distance to most all of the ancient sites and restaurants. Our room was functional, clean, and neat. The innkeepers, Francois and Melissa, were very attentive to our needs. They were an excellent resource on great... More

The Nicholas Inn was perfect for my wife and I. We were on a budget and were visiting Rome for 4 days, so we were careful as to where we stayed. What we got in return was a quaint 4-room inn, which was in a great spot in Rome. Melissa and Francois (owners) truly made us feel like they were... More

My wife and I stayed at Nicolas Inn in May 2013. We stayed for three nights and found the B& B to be perfectly sited for getting around Rome. As described in many other reviews the owners are lovely people who went out of their way to make us feel welcome (a bottle of wine in our room on arrival)... More

We stayed for 4 nights in April. Melissa had arranged for a car to pick us up at the airport and both hosts were there to great us when we arrived, which was nice after a long flight. The location is great, close to the Colosseum and walking distance of the major sites. You could not ask for better hosts.... More
