This hotel is in a peaceful neighborhood in easy walking distance of the main attractions. It is very small, with a friendly staff. The rooms are small but very comfortable and very pleasant. It is a real find! More

I don't have any real complaints about this hotel. We stayed there because my husband's company put him up there for a business trip that I tagged along for. It's a typical european hotel to me, meaning the space is smaller and the shower doesn't have a door/curtain that keeps water from going all over the bathroom. The staff were... More

This was our first trip to Italy and did not know what to expect in hotels. We were very pleased with the Empire Palace. Everything was clean and efficiently run. The breakfast buffet was good and gave plenty of choices: eggs, meats, breads, yogurt, juices and coffees. It's not in the center of things but I ended up appreciating that.... More

Booked through SLH and got a nice upgrade to a Junior Suite. The room was a little dated and old looking but still very nice. Staff were very helpful providing maps and advice. A little bit away from the craziness of the tourist areas but not too far and a nice walk. About 20 mins walk from the Spanish steps.... More

My wife and I stayed here for three nights following an Odyssey-unlimited tour of Southern Italy (great by the way). The Empire Palace is very professionally run. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms are a bit small by American standards but comfortable never the less. Very good bed, sheets, towels, soap etc. Great breakfast with a very... More

We arrived in Rome in June/2011 to find a taxi strike... but we were able to find a shuttle that took us to our hotel very quickly. The hotel is great... it has that boutique appeal and it is in a very good neighbourhood concerning safety and the restaurants that are near were just great. We walked to Fontana di... More

We stayed at the hotel prior to our cruise. We had a wonderful time and found the hotel to be a perfect location. Great restaurants nearby as well. We felt safe at all times. We would stay here again. More

We stayed here for two nights before a transatlantic cruise. The room was nice, bed comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Easy walking distance to historic sights. Clean room was decent size. Would stay here again. More
