This was our first trip to Italy and did not know what to expect in hotels. We were very pleased with the Empire Palace. Everything was clean and efficiently run. Booked through SLH and got a nice upgrade to a Junior Suite. The room was a little dated and old looking but still very nice. Staff were very helpful providing maps and advice. A little bit away from the craziness of the tourist areas but not too far and a nice walk. About 20 mins walk from the Spanish steps.... More
