We were very pleased with Aventino. The location is perfect: quiet, green, short walk to metro Circus Massimo, bus/tram stop (bus 3 from vialle Aventino takes you directly to the Coloseum 3 stops). This hotel is charming. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our bedroom was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Although our room had air conditioning, we preferred to sleep with the window open, which was possible as the location is so quiet. Being so close to the best view of Rome is also a bonus. More

This is a well maintained villa with well decorated, comfortable and clean rooms. It was very inexpensive for a room of this quality in Rome, but that's probably because it lies in a nice, quiet residential neighborhood just outside the tourist area, and you'll have to walk about 8 minutes to the nearest metro stop or else take a taxi. Nice small hotel located in a quite part of the city. Very close to the historical center. Good value for money. Our room was very basic, no frills and thats exactly what we needed.
