We stayed for 4 nights in Hotel Oly (Rome). After the second cleaning day, my pyjamas disappeared. First we thought they might have just taken them with the bedlinen to the laundry. The reception managers appeared to be helpful and asked around, however my pyjamas were not found. It turned out that the reception managers actually misinformed us tsuggesting us...

Stayed at this hotel with Riviera Trave in a twin bed room with B&B. On the way to the hotel, the rep offered us the chance to eat in the hotel resaurant for 30 euros each. There were only two options, fish or meat. We chose the meat - a cheesy thing, Ravioli in a mushroom sauce, a chicken roll...

Good:
1. Very clean room and bathroom.
2.10 min maximum to walk to Blue Metro Station San Paolo and only 4 stations to Central Station Termini. Very close to old city.
3. The pool was for Free!!!
4. We stayed 8 nights. $150 for a night. This is cheap for such a hotel in Rome.
5. Hotel staff were very...

This hotel was clean but breakfast was a little disappointing, we had to wait for more cakes, cheese and ham. We were with Riviera Travel and were told we could not eat in the room where the Italians ate for breakfast. After a rather heated discussion, we were eventually allowed to! We reported this to reception who seemed surprised and...

We stayed for three nights at Hotel Oly earlier this month. Whilst the rooms etc were fine we were dismayed to be told that we would have to pay 20Euros each per day if we wanted to use the pool!!!!
I've never heard of such a thing - all we wanted was a quick swim after busy and hot days...

We stayed at The Oly Hotel for 6 nights in September and would really struggle to find anything to fault it on. The room was well decorated and very clean, with useful welcome packs (toilletries, sewing kit etc) in the bathroom. The safe (hidden away in the wardrobe) was free to use which was surprising. The bedding was literally changed...

Stayed 3 nights as part of Cities of Italy with Riviera Travel.
Room and facilities perfectly adequate but air con did not seem to be effective.
Breakfast buffet rather disappointing - very watery juice and only tinned fruit. Coffee via a machine resulted in queues.
Opted for a set meal in hotel on first night - silver service of antipasta/pasta/meat/dessert...

Some people seem very hard to please. The breakfast was more than ample - certainly a good deal better than the cake people seem to have become fixated on. One has to expect things to be different away from home. The room was scrupulously clean, well decorated and the whole hotel was non-smoking. I agree that the receptionist was a...

There were a few things wrong with this hotel such as a snooty receptionist and no air conditioning ( it was quite warm in April although the Italians did not think so!). However, it was clean,we had a good sized room, and a well equipped bathroom, there was plenty of variation at breakfast - fruit, cereal, cheese, ham, cakes etc...
