This hotel was fantastic we paid for the price. The walk to the coliseum took about 10 - 15 minutes and it was not that far from the main train station. The hotel staff were so friendly and the best thing about the breakfast was that when you wanted a coffee they made it there and then for you to... More

I placed a search in Trip Advisor for the best hotel in Rome - business purposes - located near the main city train station and the number 1 result was this pile called the Saturnia. The room was so small...... ( how small was it?! ) that i could barely open the door before smacking the flophouse era bed. The... More

We stayed three days at the hotel saturnia, although is very small and old construction, lacked the necessary comfort. breakfast was included in the price and was plentiful and varied. last year, the Concierge, Mr. virgilio, before going to the concert offered us sparkling wine to toast the arrival of the new year. upon return, about four, we were cold... I was with my family saturnia hotel, we enjoyed the Roman culture very different from our own habits, educational archaeological, rome is wonderful, beautiful, and has been for us to be an emotion on Roman soil. see the monuments so ancient it's exciting. Our hotel, small but efficient for comfort. Mr. tiziano and Mr. Virgilio, friendly and kind to our... More

The only bad thing is the location. The location itself was good, BUT, it's not that easy to find. Do not trust Google Maps, go by the directions listed on their website. Go along Via Cavour, much easier to find that way. Service was great! The manager gave a great description of Rome and informed us where to visit and... More

thought for a long time to grant a holiday in Rome, but we have postponed many times. This hotel gave us a good room with a bathroom at a great low price. The breakfast was typical European, but all very fresh and plentiful. the staff were very friendly, even Miss Mikela. great staff in reception, thanks to Mr. Virgilio very... More

The service at Hotel Saturnia was top-notch, especially for a small hotel. Everyone was kind and spoke English as well as Italian. The front desk employees could answer all sorts of questions, from where to buy wine to the shortcut to the Metro. The breakfast was the standard European hotel breakfast, but the items were fresh and they hotel had... More

This is a rather difficult review to write. I was swayed to try this hotel by all the wonderful reviews it received by other travellers on Tripadvisers. I did not read the room description and missed the fact that it offers shared bathroom facilities - no wonder the room was so cheap! If you are adventurous enough to share bathrooms... More

We visited Rome in August 2011 and stayed at hotel Saturnia. The rooms were quite small and felt very dark. You can hear people climbing the stairs or talking. It is close to Roma Termini and two other metro stations which is why we probably chose it. It is also close to the Colosseum and there are enough places to... More
