I visited Rome last October with a friend and booked for Aenea's based on the price and location. The correspondence I had with the owner Federica was very prompt and personable. Although we didn't use it, they do offer a service where they can arrange transport if you aren't familiar with the city links with the airports. Some of the... More

The room was excellent. Nicely decorated and good en-suite bathroom. Shower wasn't great but it was clean, well maintained and the location was good. Some reviews seem to describe the area as dodgy, but I don't think that it is by most big city standards. Arriving was a bit of an issue. We had received an email from the owner... More

Aenea's B&B, Via Rattazzi, Roma. The perfect 'reasonably priced' place to stay. Rome is the city of contradictions, fun, exciting and full of fabulous people, places and off course history. Aenea's captures that 'Roma feeling', it is friendly, relaxed, and welcoming. The staff/caretaker is very helpful and ready to give advice/guidance if asked. The rooms are very clean, nicely decorated... More

It was a bit hilarious stepping off the plane for our italian holiday into a B & B with a distinctly "indian" decor, but apart from that, it was a nice place to stay. Breakfast is just toast and coffee (and coconut yoghurt and some cheese). No frills, comfy beds, good price. For you Aussie travellers, it's not like any... More

BEWARE! This is Aenea's BED & BREAKFAST, not a hotel with a similar name. I had thoroughly vetted a different hotel with a similar name, and when I found Aenea's with a lower price on a hotel booking site, I unwittingly made a reservation for Aenea's B&B--definitely not the hotel I wanted. I was disappointed when I discovered I had... More

When you step off the busy street you would never believe you were in the centre of Rome. Our back bedroom was very romantic and extremely quiet. We could live there! Now that's saying something.

Myself and a friend stayed here between dec 11-14th as a base for our first visit to rome. We were not too sure what to expect and but when we found it it was absolutely perfect for our needs..a central base for a couple of days exploring rome on foot. The front door is probably about a minutes walk from... More

Great location by the station, good value for money, excellent customer service - we felt very welcomed and accommodated. Busy/non-touristy neighbourhood which could be uncomfortable if you're alone or with young children, but absolutely fine for us. Very easy to get to anywhere you might want to go in Rome, Colosseum/Pantheon etc. within walking distance or everywhere is accessible by... More

When we arrived, it was late; there was a misunderstanding that the host went to the different location. (they have different b&b) Even the location was convenient, but still quite dark and a little scary. The breakfast was okay, not the traditional Italian breskfast. You have to make breakfast that host left in the cupboard and fridge by yourself. You can... More

The hotel is at a great location. Close to good restaurants (like TEMA), to subway station, and markets. The rooms were clean. The area is quiet. The breakfast was ok Some of the staff was ok, while others were not willing to make any effort to help, sometimes even rude, which was a shame because if it weren't for that... More
