We really enjoyed our stay at Casale Altavilla. My husband and I spent 5 nights in the suite, with our 6 & 8 year olds. The main bed was supplemented with two fold-out beds for the kids and there was still plenty of room to move. My parents joined us, staying in one of the double rooms for 4 nights... More

Casale Altavilla is a superb summer base to visit Rome, whenever you feel too hot or tired, a few hours in the swimming pool will relax you and enable you to enjoy more of the beautiful city of Rome. The B& B is just next to a bus line direct to the historic center. Simona is a very kind and... More

Spent two nights with Simona in her family casale with another couple of friends traveling with us all over Italy. We chose this b and b due to its free parking and closeness to the city, a couple of blocks from a bus stop. True, Simona smokes a lot and this could be a problem for many. This however was... More

Te setting is nice with the yard and pool. Breakfast in the garden gazebo was good. The location ok but not ideal. It necessitates a bus commute to get to the Vatican or city centre. Not a huge inconvenience and fairly easy. We are non-smokers and the proprietress' habit of smoking in the property did not sit well with us... More

Nice yard, interesting building and lovely, large room. The bathroom was very nice and large, however most of the jets in the massage shower were plugged and the whole thing fell apart when you tried to use it. An excellent pizzeria/restaurant is just a few steps down the road with delicious pasta and pizza. It was a 15 to 20... More

There was nothing wrong with the room, and the breakfast was pleasant. After being delayed for two hours on our flight to Rome, we were received in a very rude manner. We reserved a taxi through Simona, which had left by the time we finally arrived at the airport. Having had no internet or cellphone access during our flight, we... More

Spent 5 nights with Simona. Perfect location. Bus 50 meters away, restaurants as close as 10 meters, and "bottle shop" 5 minutes at a slow walk. Fabulous gardens and pool. My google skills were never more rewarded. Peetika and Warren - Australia More

We have spent an enjoyable week in Casale Altavilla b&b. It is a beautiful house and we enjoyed so much relaxing in the garden before or after our sigh seeing in Rome city center. The facilities have been excellent. Breakfast have been varied and always appetiring. Many thanks to the owner Simone for making us very welcome and for helping... More

We have enjoyed our stay in the beautiful Casale Altavilla b&b. Everything was perfect: our Suite, the garden, the swimming pool and the lovely dogs. Every morning the breackfast was delicious with all surprising attentions, expecially the home-made jam. Our children wanted to go back to the B&B instead of looking at all the attractions in the city center. We... More

My husband and I stayed in Casale Altavilla for a week during our visit to Rome. Simona, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful, gave us many tips on how to get to places and where to eat, and when we expressed our will to buy an Italian coffee machine she took us in her car to the store and...
