My husband and I have been to Rome 3 times over many years and have stayed at the Cornet each time. We find it charming, interesting, and the location can't be beat. We are planning another trip for October with two friends and the Cornet will be where we stay. We have brought other friends the Cornet as well. When... More

This is a very nice budget hotel in the old fashioned European style. It reminded me of the little one star hotels where we would stay when we traveled over 20 years ago. The staff was friendly and helpful, spoke English and recommended a great restaurant. We had a very large room with bath, overlooking the beautiful courtyard. There were... More

For 190Euro we’ve got a run down room with broken glass window. No air-conditioner, no refrigerator, no safe in the room. Breakfast is bread, butter, cheese and coffee. Legally they can charge from 35 to192 euro per night. In case you are willing to stay in the cheap motel- like environment, my advise is to insist on the price of... More

My wife and I stayed in this hotel in December and found it to be an excellent value and location. We would definitely return here. Perhaps chosing the private bath option though. We picked the hotel based on reviews here. Staff: The staff was generally friendly, knowledgable and helpful. They let us store bags here for a few days trip... More

I had a wonderful stay here with my 8 year old son. We had a room facing the courtyard and these are well worth paying the small extra for as they are quiet and have their own bathroom. The staff are kind and helpful. The breakfast is a feast compared to usual Italian fare. The hotel is very well situated... More

Pros: Got a decent size "triple" - king bed with pull out couch - with crib for family of 4. Plenty of room considering how tiny European hotels can be. Not too expensive. A hop away from the Pantheon. Close to some good resturaunts. I was able to walk everywhere I wanted to from the hotel (except for the Vatican)... More

The Coronet was a charming pensione. Our room was comfortable, very clean bathrooms and the staff was very friendly. The air-conditioner had to be drained off water every once in a while, but it was not a problem at all. The Coronet is in the midst of everything, you can pretty much walk to all the major attractions Rome has... More

This is the last placed we stayed during our two week vacation in Italy and was our least favorite. Our room had dirty carpet that was cut in several places, and filthy walls and curtains. The street noise was also very bad. The shared bathrooms were not clean and the shower was the size of a coffin. We will not... More

We liked everything about the Coronet - it's in an ideal location and our large room looked over the quiet courtyard. There's a police station out front, so you always feel safe coming and going at all hours. The staff was especially helpful when we needed to call a friend whose mother could not understand my broken Italian. When we... More

This was my first visit to Italy and we stayed at some pretty mediocre places in other cities. When we got to Rome, this hotel was a nice change. Honestly, when you're on vacation, how concerned should you be about TV and internet-- you should be out enjoying the city. So even though it doesn't have all the modern luxuries,... More
