overall this hostel is average and had nothing special going for it. theres nothing inparticularly wrong with this hostel but nothing great. staff were good but occasionally hard to get ahold of, rooms and bathrooms were pretty clean but a bit on the smallish side. location wasnt good, as it is quite far away from any attractions, but close enough... Definitely would recommend this hostel. Only slight drawback is the location - slightly out of the centre. However, Rome is so easy to get around with the 2 metro lines so it was never a problem. Very helpful staff, nice big clean rooms and in a safe area. Francesco the guy who owns it was very friendly and helpful. More

We arrived at the reception hostel and were taken for a short walk to the other hostel - a two bedroom apartment with kitchen. It was wonderful, especially if you are keen to self-cater, as we were. Our room was very small, but had a double bed and private ensuite, which was all we needed. There is a washing machine... More

Me and my friend went to Twincities hostel at the end of September, beginning of October 2010. We had a reservation for a twin room, no shared bathroom. We went to the address from Leonardo Da Vinci, and Francesco took us to another place on Ostience. On the road he said: you know the pictures on the internet? your rooms... More

Our stay in this hostel was amazing thanks to Francesco who runs it! We had an amazing time with him and he is a good friend now! Hostel is easy to find. Metro stop is a 2 min walk down the road and kitchen is great if your saving money and don't want to eat out all the time! We... More

We had a very nice time in this hostel. Francesco was very nice and helped us a lot. The hostel is well located, within less than 5 minutes from metro and bus. It is possible to cook, which was really helpful and saves you some money. Great place to visit Rome! More

We stayed here for 5 nights in a 2 person room with a share bathroom. The room was clean. We had a shared balcony overlooking the street but since it's shared with a 6-8 person room next door, there are times when it gets a little noisy if you're trying to sleep. There's only one bathroom and it seems like... More

The host will do an airport pickup that is worth the money. The rooms are clean with a cute balcony. The Metro is 3 blocks. This place is perfect for a small group or a single. More

My wife and I stayed here for three nights at the tali end of a ten day trip, and of all the places we stayed this was our favorite. The location is the one thing that wasn't really ideal, as you can't walk to any of the sites (there's a 10 minutes metro ride from Termini, the station name is... More
