Hotel Bonconte is a lovely older hotel with an attractive first floor located just inside the city walls, and safely away from the noise at the town center, which is a short (if steep) uphill walk away. This hotel is just inside the city walls. Great location. Has a good restaurant. Parking is free which was a pleasant change. Easy access to all the tourist spots.

This hotel saved our bacon when we showed up late afternoon without a reservation. They gave us an excellent, quiet double, overlooking the shaded patio, and threw in a complimentary breakfast.
