Rooms are of a poor quality, in need of refurb.. Bathrooms are really small and poor standard, limited free on site parking, free wifi, ok for 1 night but would not want to stay with family etc..would not hurry back ..

I stay in this hotel quite often when coming for business in Modena. The location is excellent,downtown with lots of shops and restraunts just 2 min away from hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Quite cozy rooms not small as typical in Europe, newly rebuilt on the 4th floor. Very good breakfast with fresh fruits and cakes.

We stayed there just for one night on our way from Milan to Padova to be able to visit the ferrary museum. The rooms we quite nice. The breakfast was very good with fresh fruits in winter! There was a parking available. Pretty nice hotel as I can see from one night stay.

Stayed there for 4 nights during my business trip. I haven't used any of the facilities but can say the breakfast was perfect, the room was large and cosy. Estense is located near to the central street and 10min walk from station. Staff was very friendly and customer oriented.

The Hotel Estense is perfectly located to catch a bus to the Ferrari Museum as stated in the previous review. There is a huge market held twice a week( I think) which is right next to the Hotel. Some rooms are very small but if you get one of the good rooms then this is one of the best places to stay.
