Have to admit my first impression was not great, saw people hanging about outside. The explaination is that some earthquake victims from the region are being housed there so when I stayed there the elderly and children (school holidays) were sitting around the outside. The 1970s Soviet-style architecture is the sole redeeming feature of this hotel, that is located opposite a derelict army barracks, so you are woken up early in the morning by a recording of the Reveille on the tannoy system.
