Wonderful staff! The location was really easy to get to at the top of Manarola with a wonderful view of the town. It is super close to the train station (just a 5 minute walk). Although breakfast wasn't included, it was only 5 for a buffet breakfast (The apple croissants were SO good! Freshly made every morning!) It was clean,... More

it's on a hill in manarola so the initial walk up with your bags can be very tiring but I was able to check in any time and apparently lockout is only between 10am - 1pm. The staff are helpful, especially the man in the evening, always smiling. I stayed in a 6 female bed dorm and they gave us... More

I stayed at this hostel in October 2012 and it was a pretty good place to stay. Well located up on the hill in Manarola, the staff were very helpful. I stayed in a 6 bed dorm and it seems the rules have been relaxed a bit- there was no curfew in place and on the first night one of... More

My friends and I have just stayed in this fantastic hostel at the beginning of August 2012. It is a fantastic hostel, we were in a 6 bed female dorm and although there is no airconditioning with the windows open and fan on at night there was more than enough air! Beautiful views, huge lockers that fit your bag (my... More

*** This hostel undergone a changeover around May/June in 2012. So the reviews before that are of a different owner. It is now operated by a completely new management *** Even though the management is new, the staff is still incredibly friendly and helpful. The building is well equipped with an elevator, so you don't have to lug your luggage... More

We were fortunate enough to book this hostel en route to Cinque Terre. Having stayed in a pretty mediocre hostel in Milan, this hostel was a godsend ... we felt like Kings in the Castle. Ostello Cinque Terre is clean, well located, and cheap. Having read some of the poor reviews about this place, in particular about the staff, I... More

I stayed here for 4 days in June 2012 and I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Cinque Terre. The price was ideal (23 euros/night). Yes the 5 minute showers were interesting, but never posed a problem. The staff was always cheerful and helpful. Internet only works in common area, but not too much of a... More

Cinques Terres & Manarola are highlights of an extensive family trip to Europe. Mom, Dad and two teenagers all loved it. Ostello CT provided a terrific 'family room' option at a reasonable price. The immaculate room had four bunk beds, a private bath with shower, electric outlets to recharge all gear, and a window on the fabulous Mediterranean. We ate... More

I stayed here twice, one in the summer of 2001 and then again in 2003. The walk up the hill, if you are carrying a backpack, can be a little tough, but it will be worth it in the end. When I stayed there, there was a curfew - that's the only thing to note. The location is perfect and... More

I've stayed here twice and been impressed both times. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the guy at the front desk remembered me the second time I came, even though I'd last stayed there over a year ago! The price can't be beat, and everything was clean and comfortable in the dorms. It's a bit of a walk... More
