We stayed with friends in this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom renovated apartment with fantastic views over the small bay of Mararola. The apartment is not huge, like most I expect in this area, but it was well fitted out with a small kitchen area, dinning table with 4 chairs and a 3 seater couch and a couple of chairs. The... More

We picked this for four days of our honeymoon based on reviews we read here and were not disappointed. The location is perfect, overlooking the harbour from high above the cliffs. The apartment is modern and very comfortable and has a kitchenette so you don't have to eat out all the time. The view is spectacular and is the size... More

Cinque Terra and more specifically Manarola were special and something you do not want to miss. One of our only regrets we had in our trip to Italy was in planning ahead, that we did not give ourselves one extra day to just hang out in Manarola. The apartment Mediterraneo that we stayed in Manarola was the most modern, well... More

We loved our 5 nights in Mediterraneo 2 and can't wait to go back. We had planned for it to be the relaxing end to our tour and we were not disappointed in any way with this accommodation. It was the most expensive place we stayed in but was worth it - we had our own washing machine, perfectly sized... More

Stayed here with my boyfriend and we were very happy with the place. Yes, it's up some stairs but shouldn't be a problem for any able-bodied person. If you can get around Cinque Terre, you can make it to this apartment. The pictures say it all, it really is as it looks, with one exception - I was a bit... More

We stayed at Mediterraneo 2 in mid July. As others have said a bit of hike to get to, but oh was it worth it. Very comfortable apartment, with all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay. Beautiful views from the terrace of the town and ocean. Manarola is certainly quieter than the other towns, and we enjoyed several... More

The apartment takes a bit of getting to and gives your heart a good work out, but rewards you in every way. Manarola is quieter that the other villages, and from the balcony of Mediterraeneo 2 you get views down on the tiny harbor and across to the terraced gardens the locals use to grow their vegetables. The apartments very... More

We stayed in Mediterraneo 2 for 4 nights with another couple in early July. The apartment has a very modern feel to it and with A/C, clothes washer (and ample line drying space off the balcony), dishwasher, flatscreen TV, free wireless internet and generous bedrooms by Italy standards, we had all the comforts we could have asked for. It is... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in May. It was our first two nights in Italy on the way to Lucca, Chianti, Venice and Paris. In retrospect, probably our favorite night of the trip was our second night when we made pasta and drank local wine on our balcony at Mediterraneo 1. The balcony is as large... More

This apartment was the highlight of our trip to Italy. The staff was so helpful we did not want for anything. The view was exceptional. We had cocktails on our balcony in the evening then went down to the wonderful restaurants for dinner. Very centrally located to the local train, and to the hiking trail between the other villages. Be... More
