If you just want a cheap place to sleep near the beach this place is fine. But we had higher expectations. it was just a small room and tiny tiny bathroom. the room was very hot, which made it hard to sleep. (and it wasn't even hot outside)

This hotel is in a great location. It is within easy walking distance to/from the Monterosso al Mare train station which links to all the other town on the Cinque Terre. Our experience at La Sirene was not what we expected. Although location was excellent (close to the beach, close to the train station), a couple of things we didn't like were finding hairs in the shower, the small bed, the noise level and the early check out (between 9,30 and 10,30). Would not recommend.

Wonderful service from Ermanna, who couldn't have welcomed us any more warmly. You are steps from the beach, cafes, restaurants, and shops. The rooms are basic, clean, and comfortable for a very reasonable price. Monterosso is magical, and our rooms here felt like home. We loved our time here, and will to be back someday!

We thought this was a perfectly nice place to stay located within walking distance of the beach and train station. Our room didn't have any views but it was a nice size and very clean. I think it was good value for money and definitely a decent place to stay if you are on a budget.
