Great hotel at the edge of town, affordable, clean, large room, great breakfast and helpful staff. Unfortunately it is on a main street junction point and therefore noisy. We are used to the noise, but it could be a problem for some people.

We stayed at this hotel in July 2012, and loved everything! First of all, great location (all the nice Rapallo restaurants are located in close proximity to it). Also, the hotel staff was extremely nice and went beyond our expectations to make our 2-week stay as comfortable as possible. Thanks a lot for everything!

Located very central, the family owned hotel has large rooms (for European standards) with all required amenities (including good working conditions A/C). Good and plentiful breakfast, owners and staff extremely friendly and helpful, parking available in a garage at €18 euro per day. Historic downtown and marina at 5 minutes walk distance. Four of us stayed at the Hotel Stella in Rapallo for a night on our drive from Milan to Florence. Finding the hotel was not a problem, but finding parking for registration was in issue. They had cones placed out front of the hotel blocking the street parking for guests, but no one there to move the cones as guests... More

I had a lovely room at the attic. There wasn't a balcony but there was a panoramic solarium just next to the room. Breakfast was good and staff was very nice. And that old golden retriever on front desk was especially cute;) (I was in this hotel July 2010 not 2011...)

We found Hotel Stella quite by accident driving around Rapello trying to find a nice, reasonable, safe place close to train station. We loved it, staff suggested a resturant the locals frequent and had the most wonderful pasta with walnut sauce! Great view from the top floor patio of the harbor. Nice hotel, very clean, friendly and helpful staff. Bit expensive though! Breakfast adequate. 5 mins walk into Rapallo - lovely town. Fireworks were amazing!

We had the whole top floor and terrace to ourselves. The room was clean, linens and towels were fresh each morning. Great location for a short walk to the waterfront or to the city for lunch, dinner or anything else. Helpful staff helped us with any questions we had. Great hotel and we will be back!
