This was our fourth visit to Sirmione - it is a special place, located at the tip of of a long, narrow peninsular at the base of Lake Garda. Unfortunately, we only had time for a one night stay this time. On previous visits, we've stayed at hotels along the peninsular, this time we decided to stay in the old... More

Hotel Villa Maria is an unmanned block of 80's hotel rooms, the entrance has a damp smell about it as do the corridors. You have to check in and out at the 4* Hotel Continental you can eat and drink at the Continental but you most certainly cannot use any other guest amenities ie Pool you are make to feel... More

Good value easy walk to the ruins, the lake and all the good eats in town. This place is in the heart of the old town and quite a ride in on the weekend but will worth the stop over. They are a sister property of hotel continital the people were nice as long as we stayed away from the... More

The Villa Maria is an annexe of the Hotel Continental. We stayed there for 3 nights while visiting the opera in Verona. The rooms were quite adequate, air conditioned and the shower toilet was clean wit amenities such as soap etc all provided. Nice fresh towels were a nice touch. The breakfast room was quite adequate (there is no restaurant)... More

This hotel is lovely and quiet. It is not really staffed as the main hotel is around the corner so it is really peaceful and quiet. My boyfriend and I felt like we were the only people staying there, which was nice at breakfast etc but at night time it felt a little creepy sometimes, but that's probably just me.... More

Nice view to the lake, friendly personell. Very good relation price/value, free and easy parking. An absolute must: the restaurant of the sister hotel Continental: excellent food, fantastic view over the lake, charming waiters and reasonable prices. Less amazing: access by car through the historical city with thousands of tourists behaving like sheeps...

this is a perfect place, especially for families. i stayed in the selfcatering homes. they were spotless, clean simple bathroom and bedrooms-colours not great though! there is a table outside each home so you can eat outdoors. there is a beautiful swimming pool, a smaller one for children. it is located near good restaurants and a beach. close to other big attractions...
