We had a lovely meal at lunchtime in the restaurant and were made very welcome by Suzie. She is trying to source all food and produce locally which adds to the dining experience. Well worth a visit AND dogs are welcome in the Village Bar and the garden.

Staff were very accommodating of our large family with young children and dogs. The goody bags on arrival for dogs and children were a nice touch. As a regular visitor to the Star Hotel I find the staff friendly and very helpful, making my time as stress free as possible. A great village pub where your made to feel like one of the locals. I would highly recommend paying the Star Hotel a visit if your in the area.
