Family owned hotel that makes you feel at home. The staff was the best, playing with the kids, helping us with everything. The food was excellent, we gained a few kilos. The bar was fantastic together with the staff.

This lovely, welcoming hotel appears to be run by several generations of a family who are involved from the first greeting. This is a five star hotel where they make you feel comfortable whether you are cold and exhausted from the slopes, or expecting a classic, formal dinner. This is a family run mountain lodge with superb facilities. Upscale place in the alps. Exclusive and costly but it delivers. Only disappointment that takes away a star is that you need to stay together withe the newly rich from Russia. We stay at the Hermitage at least twice a year and cannot give it enough stars. Everything is really perfect from the welcome, the extraordinary service, the attention to detail, the comfort and of course the truly delicious meals. It is my most favourite hotel in the world!
