Myself and my mum had a very pleasurable experience during our 6 day stay at this hotel. Vivanna, Elisabetta and the rest of the staff were extremely accommodating and always had a smile for the guests. They took time to talk with us and ensure that we were facilitated in the best way possible.
The room was very clean, airy...

We stayed four nights at the Igea as part of a three-nation tour in Europe. Despite a day of torrential rains and hectic traffic, we thought the Igea was the highlight of our stopover.
Elisabetta and her staff were most helpful and engaging, esp. the women who assisted at breakfast. The rooms had fine amenities including towel warmers--not always found...

At this hotel we spent a noisy and hot night in a room with no air conditioning.
In the en-suite bathroom the shower was not enclosed except by a curtain – so inevitably the bathroom flooded comprehensively when the shower was used. This was (to say the least) not a very satisfactory arrangement.
We did enjoy the good Buffet Breakfast...

We stayed 9 nights at the Hotel Igea, using Padua as a base to see Venice and take some day trips. We booked a double superior for 115 euros/night. The bathroom was amazing, with a heated towel rack and HUGE tiled shower with a place to sit down. Other features: extremely comfortable bed, lots of drawer space, a sofa, a...

Hotel is simple, clean and quite. Garage for bikes and for cars is 100 meters away. Staff people are accommodating, helpful and speak English. Our room booked by travel agent associated with Girolibero as a double room was large and had a seating sofa in addition to the queen bed. Buffet breakfast was fine and they also had a station...

Prompt repsonse to intial online enquiry. Happy to see us when we arrived at 9.45 pm. Room clean and bright, excellent breakfast. Well, placed for University, town centre and bus station - little longer to walk to trains but overall a great place to stay if you want a base to stay in Padova.

Definitely a bad experience. We have been booking hotels all over Padova for the past three years and have never been treated with less sympathy or respect than in Hotel Igea. We got there on a hot humid night on september 23rd and thought we were getting some air conditioning. Little did we know that they had shut down the...

I stayed at the Hotel Igea for 5 nights in June of 2004. I had to make a last minute reservation just before departing from the U.S. Most affordable hotels were already full except for Igea. Although the staff were both professional and helpful online, I wondered why they still had beds available when other hotels were fully booked. Once...
