Had 3 nights at the Gorizia - Excellent location but the staff were so miserable and unhelpful. I did not see one person smile or say hello. Breakfast was good and was always replenished very quickly.

Stayed at the Gorizia for 3 nights to take in the sights of Venice. Superbly located between the Rialto Bridge and St Mark's Square (5 minutes walk from each). Within a few minutes walking distance from both the Rialto Bridge and St. Marks square with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Hotel staff were friendly enough, good breakfast, room decor was in keeping with Venice but room did smell really bad. We booked a double room, but we got two singles pushed together, these were the only negatives.
