Hotel is nice. Breakfast is simple but OK. It is very close to train station and also bus station piazzaler roma so I liked it. We were really happy about the free wifi connection. Last day our plane was in the evening and we had whole one more day and the lady in front desk was perfect. They kept our... More

We stayed here in May 2013 and had a fantastic time. The outside of the hotel has the classic Venice "shabby-chic" look, with a couple of tables outside for guests to use, but inside, our room was large, clean and bright with windows on both sides and the en-suite bathroom was absolutely spotless. It's location was convenient for us and... More

Dear Suffolk (is this your name?), an absolute gem? Thanks! This makes me so proud as our deep research in your satisfaction went through! I'd like so much all our guest could give us a similar review, maybe it's just a dream, but never say ever (sorry, I stole Bond's words - we have the same name after all!!!). See... More

This little boutique hotel should score higher. Really! We stayed for only one night in May and it is truly quaint. What matters to my husband and me is cleanliness and comfort and it excelled in both of these areas. it is true that there is not a lift but the hotel staff helped us with our baggage. It is... More

We stayed there in May 2013 for one night. Great location as it is realy close to the train station and bus stop. Not to far to walk with luggages. The hotel itself is nice and the rooms are small. FYI, there are no elevators with two floors with rooms in case it is a problem with some. It wasn't... More

Hello Dieppe, thanks for your review. I do not agree 100% with your sentence we do not deserve an higher rating, as Venice has instead a very high quality level if compared to other places and you should take into account we are 1 star hotel: think about a 4 star hotel in Venice, I think it could have larger... Hotel in great location just across from train/bus station. Venice is very accessible by walking or taking vaparetto (water bus), so central location is not important. For a 1 star hotel, we were impressed with the breakfast, and nice front desk staff, and good internet connection. Room was what we expected..small but functional. Bed was very comfortable.

We stayed at the Albergo Marin for three nights and overall were pleased with the hotel. The location is excellent - close to the rail station and the Grand Canal. It is within walking or ferrying distance of all the major attractions. Perfect for a few days stay in Venice. The hotel itself is somewhat 'shabby' - the rooms are... More

Hello Hope, nice hearing you. I thank you for your nice words about location and other stuff, unfortunately I'm sad you did not enjoy your breakfast. We are going to try to improve it even if we think is more than appropriate for a 1 star hotel. Anyhow if you could send us a prospect of what you would like... More

We arrived on the 2nd of May and like everyone coming to Venice, we got lost for a while but it was a beautiful city and we did not mind at all. On arriving in Venice, we had to lug our suitcases over 2 bridges to reach this B&B. Off the Grand Canal, we were disappointed to find no elevator and no porter to carry our suitcases. Dear Terry, I wish to thank you so much for your nice speaking. We thoroughly enjoyed our three day stay at The Albergo Marin Hotel. Alexandra, Philipo and Fabio were all very gracious and helpful. It is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood.
