We spent six nights at RL and it was lovely. A minutes walk to the Grand Canal and five minutes to the Rialto bridge. Eugenia, Samuela and Martina looked after us very well, answering many of our questions and giving suggestions of sites, walks and restaurants. Noticed that reviews before December 2010 include bad reviews before current owners took over - the current owners are excellent and I can't recommend the Laguna highly enough. We had a fabulous time and Davide and Marina are, as everybody says, very friendly, helpful and run a great hotel.

We had a lovely few days. Our room was so nice. We loved being just above the street and the shutters were so characteristic of Europe. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. The proprietors, Davide and Marina were so friendly and so helpful. Breakfast was most enjoyable. The location is perfect. Close to Rialto Bridge, water taxis and the water bus.
