First impressions were not good, a cramped entrance with worn untidy carpets, tight stairs & no lift, but the room was spacious and well appointed. Soundproofing was good, given the proximity of the bus station & car park. Breakfast was average, considering the price paid, with bread & croissant of supermarket quality & relatively tasteless/dry . Receptionist was very helpful... More

location is great. Especially if your need to take the people mover to a cruise ship.Price was reasonable. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast, free, but continental. Room was very dark. We stayed in the rear hotel. This became a problem when the parking lot filled up You had to squeeze out of the door and snake your way in between... More

I chose this room specially because it's a stone throw away from the bus station which is super convenient. Secondly, I saw in it's website that the rooms are newly furbished with soundproof. I'm a person who can't sleep with noise, so I decided to choose this room. But halfway sleeping through the night, I woke up from the sound... More

Dear Guest, we are sorry you feel disappointed with your stay in our property. Although we would like you to notice that on the website www.booking.com, where you booked your room in the annexe building (Canton del Doge) between the room facilities, there is clearly indicated that the sooundproofing is available in double superior room (main building) and not in... We've stayed for 3 nights in Ca Doge in the first part of March.First impresion when we arrive from the airport: disaster - small reception, old style entrance, smal breakfast room, small space on the stairs. After few minutes, when we are going to the room it wasn't so bad - the room is clean, enough space, old style decoration an furniture, but acceptable,a little bit expensive for... I spent two nights at Ca' Doge before boarding a cruise ship. I chose Ca' Doge because it is 15 meters from the entrance of the People Mover to the cruise ship. I had been in Venice exactly 12 months before so I did not need to take in the sights. Venice was experiencing flooding at this time so I... More

I booked this hotel as a convenience for my last night in venice, as I had a 6:00 AM flight. I recieved a pleasant email prior to my arrival telling me they would prepare a breakfast box, as the breakfast room did not open until 7:00. It seemed as if I was an inconvenience because I was leaving early. The... More

Dear Guest, Regarding your comment on tripadvisor and other websites, first of all, we are very sorry you did not enjoy the stay in the hotel. We knew very well that you had to leave very early and, since the hotel is situated in the square the busses to the airports leave from, we are rather used to early departures... More

We stayed at Ca Doge for one night, before our cruise departed the following day. The hotel is in a very convenient location, not too far from the train station and across the street from the people-mover to the cruise terminal. The staff was friendly and courteous, and we were very grateful they held our luggage for us after checking... More

We had a couple of pre-cruise days in Venice, and by sheer luck we had booked our room at Ca' Doge on Piazzale Roma. What a find! One minute walk from the ATVO airport express bus. One minute walk to the People Moover (takes you to the cruise port in one minute for one euro pp). Two minutes walk to... More

This is the hotel to stay at if driving to Venice for the first time and have no idea of what to expect in regards to parking. The helpful parking attendants at the hotel park your car and have it ready on the day of departure. The hotel is adequate with relatively new renovated rooms that are clean and modestly... More
