A clean pleasant hotel with friendly staff in the middle of the old town. Quite expensive for the facilities offered but in a very quaint setting of an old monastery. Rooms very basic, and breakfast which was also quite basic(pastries,juice and coffee) could have been better.

We spent 3 nights at 'Hotel Francesco' in Alghero. The staff, location and atmosphere of this hotel are wonderful. I don't think you will get better in the medieval centre. The rooms are basic and the beds are hard but when in Alghero you are not sitting in your room! We had a great stay here :0)

Very friendly and helpful hotel staff. I stayed in a single room overlooking the internal courtyard/Cloister. Was a very peaceful stay in a monastic cell-like room, but comfortable with all the basic amenities. Great value and and great location in the Old Town.
