It's a good location and the staff was very helpful. It isn't luxurious by any means, but more than adequate. It is a short pleasant walk to the old city or to the archaeological ruins. I'd rate it good.

I've stayed at hotel Archimede for a couple of days with some friends.The rooms were very nice and cleaned.We needed informations about geting arround Syracuse and the two girls from the reception were very nice and helped us a lot giving us all the informations we needed.The location of the hotel is excellent.
