The location is 25 minuets walk from Ortigia - the center of attraction but it close to the archaeological museum and the Greek theater, taxi to Ortigia is 10 euro for each direction. the room is very minimal and the shower is very small. the breakfast offers very little. You get what you pay for.

This is an old hospital that was transformed into a hotel! The advantage of this are that the rooms are much more roomier. I would honestly suggest this place to anyone who is looking to spend one or 2 nights! There are no bars and no restaurants close to here but you can take a short walk to reach some.... More

This hotel is very cheap but clean. Staff at the front desk is very helpful. If you're in Syracuse and you're on a budget I would heavily recommend this place. Clearly, if you're into fancy places, this hotel is not for you. I stayed three nights and I liked it. The place is renovated enough to be comfortable

Stayed at the Hotel del Santuario, Siracuse for three days last week. Great central location for the wonderful museum and other Greek/Roman sites. You can also walk to Ortigia Island in 15 minutes.
