To enjoy the country side of TOSCANA just near Cortona- a nice property - Rooms and a pool in Summer. A good place for 2 -3 nights if you want to explore the area. Like a small country Hotel run with a family touch of owners.

Was there for one week last July (prolonged for one day, actually). Great service, great appartment, great pool. Very quiet. Wifi only in the reception, with a bit irritating logon feature (as in most of Italy, not the hotels fault). Ok breakfast. Great place for families!

Relais Borgo San Pietro looked to be an old stone villa with multiple out buildings, now turned into a wonderfully renovated inn with additional apts. We stayed at this Relais for 4 nights and had a really great time. The hotel is located about 5mins at the foot of the hill where the town of cortona is. The only thing I didn't like about the place was the rules for the swimming pool and BBQ area. If you want a BBQ you have to have a fireman present which I think is stupid. Also there is no jumping in the pool and you are not to take towels from your room to the pool.
