Great location, everything is near. Nice and friendly staff. Breakfast was really good for an Italian breakfast, I think - not just many different kinds of croissants but also bread rolls, different marmelades, cereals, müsli, strawberry yogurt and natural yogurt, juice and really many coffee alternatives. Free Wi-Fi access but it only works on the ground floor, not in the... More

Location - It is accessible to everywhere, restaurants, church, the famous golden gate, even golden bridge is walking distance. And from the cheap to the most expensive shop is within your reach. Train station is also 15 mins away by walk. Hotel/Room - FREE WIFI :) although not throughout the hotel but still very useful specially if you are new... More

The desk personnel were very nice and helpful. The location was excellent, in between the Duomo and the Uffizi Gallery, both in easy walking distance. We stayed in a decent-sized room the first night, but a plumbing problem there caused us to be moved to a tiny room we could hardly walk in. The bathroom was so small, you couldn't... More

While the rooms are nothing to write home about but we loved the location. We could see the Duomo out one window and the tower of the Palazzo Vecchio out the other. One of the most incredible parts for us was the church right across the street that has an organ concert every evening and we could sit in our... More

Not the cleanest hotel. Pros: Free buffett style breakfast and free wireless internet in the lobby. Beds weren't as bad as some reviews are claiming. I staid in 5 different hotels on my Europe trip and this was probably the second best. Cons: Extremely low water pressure and very little hot water. Sort of like taking a shower in the... More

This is by far the worst hotel we stayed at while in Italy.. Actually it was the worst hotel I ever stayed at. The rooms were old and the shower curtain was skeevvvvyyyy.. Can't thank you enough for an excellent week stay in Florence. Couldn't have asked for a better location to visit all the major sites in the historic area without needing transportation. My wife and I agree with the comments about it being a great location. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was certainly adequate. The only positive of this hotel is the walking distance from the train station and a lot of other tourist areas in Florence. Hotel is old and the free breakfast only consisted of some bread, croissants and cereal. Hotel does have WiFi. Staff could have been friendlier.
