Basic bb with nice decoration. Breakfast not that good, it requires improvement and more options by the room price. The mattres I took was quite old that the foam/springs were worn at the place guests used to lie down. It s around 15min walkinf from the town and few steps from the bus stop. Staff is eficient.

This guesthouse is a good option if you are on a budget, everything is fine, but nothing outstanding. Room was fine, however they left very few towels. Breakfast was not so good, I must say. Small hotel with a classic style, near the center of town, with good service and with free parking. Also the bus stop is almost next door. But the rooms have enough moisture, there is enough noise from the train and other rooms and the breakfast room is very small.

We stayed 2 nights and found it pleasant enough but have to agree with Nigel that it was fairly plain and lighting a little too dim. Very friendly and helpful staff, with excellent local recommendations. Spacious room which was very clean and comfortable with air conditioning and en suite. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Located about 15 minutes' walk away from the centre of Florence, on a peaceful street. Stayed for 6 nights, and would definitely recommend.

According to the photos on the internet I aspected to have a very nice and comfortable stay at Residenza Johanna II. But unfortunately there are some aspects which were not mentioned there. Parking is possible in the yard, but normally there are places for maximum 4 cars, although they have 7 rooms... All the time somebody leaves or comes you... More

The photos of this bed and breakfast are much more glamorous than the actual rooms. But, the room was clean and the bathroom was clean as well. Not much of a breakfast offered. The coffee cake was stale. We had to change rooms because the air conditioner was not working in the first room. Just a bit disappointing!

A great B&B in close walking distance to the main sights....but just far enough away to be restful and quiet. Comfortable clean rooms - and very hepful staff who give great reccomendations and advice.
