Got this straight out of the LP, close walk from the train station, close walk to Duomo, restaurants etc. Good price, great breakfast. Clean tidy rooms. Yes there are stairs up to reception but no need for elevator like a reviewer mentioned?! Friendly staff. Stayed 3 nights with no complaints - laundry just up the alley, just recommend to use... This hotel is avoidable. The good points are that it has free wifi and is close to the station and the Duomo, but that being said, Florence is small so as long as you don’t go beyond Piazza della Signoria, you will be close to the main sights and conveniences such as the station. The room was nothing like the... More

Lovely little boutique hotel, located close to the S.M.N. station and just down the street from the Medici Chapels. It was less than a ten minute walk from the Duomo and Baptistry. Firenze is a very walkable city (dodging bikes and cycles, of course ). We stayed in room 6 - right off of the breakfast room. It was huge... More

Great location (even if the "Torture Museum" next to the entrance is a bit funny!). Provided all we needed while in Florence. We stayed in room 21 which had an ok space around the bed (two twins pushed together), a small dressing room, and a large bathroom with tub/shower. From the floorplan, it looked as though room 20 may have... More

A very nice hotel right in the center of Florence and close to most interesting sightseeing places. I can recommend this hotel if you are looking for a priceworthy hotel in Florence. Nice and friendly atmosphere with a helpful staff. The rooms are clean and it is quiet in the nights. Breakfast is not the best you can get but... More

The two best things about this hotel are its location and staff. It's very easy to walk to most of Florence's major attractions from the hotel: The Central Market, San Lorenzo Market, and Medici Chapel are just around the corners; the train station and Duomo are just a few minutes away. It is on a pedestrian street, which is fairly... More

The Hotel Accademia is a great little hotel. The best thing about it is the location. An easy walk from the train station, and an easy walk to all of central Florence. This place is tucked into the 2nd to fourth stories of a classic building in Florence. That means lots of stairs all over the place. We did not... More

If you ilke to enjoy Florence with lower budget but with good taste, the Hotel Accademia could be for you. Hotel is located on walking street, only 5 min walking from Duomo and 10min from other major attractions like statue of David at Accademia and Ponte di Veccio. Right next hotel is located several lunch and dinner terasses and restaurants.... More

I can recommend Hotel Accademia, with the note that this is a budget hotel with very basic rooms. It is reasonably priced place to sleep and rest, not to spend time. Air con is available, and we never looked out the window. For a while we thought we did not even have window, but then we realized our window shades... More
