I agree with many other reviewers regarding the location and the cleanliness of the rooms etc. I had the single room which was very comfortable and a good size with a lovely bathroom and good quality towels, soap and shower gel etc. The window opens on to the terrace and the room catches the afternoon sun. Beware of the entry... More

My mother (83 yrs young) and I just returned from a week in Italy. We stayed at residenza casanuova while in Florence and it was perfect for us. Beatrice was welcoming and accommodating and the rooms are spotless. The location makes it easy to walk to all the main sights and museums but is quiet in the evenings. There is... More

If you want a good hotel standard, with a personal touch, this is the place for you. About 10 minutes walk from the Duomo through interesting streets and squares, this hotel is situated in a quiet residential area. Beatrice and Max, the owners, were very attentive and helpful. The rooms are light and airy and stocked with complimentary tea, coffee,... More

While a little tricky to find at first owing to some re-construction going on in the area, it turned out to be much closer to the downtown area than we thought and the walk was through some great areas that we... This elegant, beautifully appointed B&B is located in an old Pallazzo in the Santa Croce neighborhood - about a 15 minute walk from the Duomo and the Uffizzi. It is decorated with antiques and beautiful furniture and objects, which made me feel as if I were in a five-star hotel. My room was extremely comfortable and lovely, with a very... More

All positives but I have to start with the owners, Beatrice and Max-they are very helpful and nice people to spend time with. This is their home and they are wonderful hosts. The place is nice, well-maointained, good location, big room, clean, etc. The only suggestions I would have-the breakfast could be varied a bit and you only get one... More

Thank you to the gracious and lovely Beatrice and Max. Spending this leg of our vacation in their beautiful family home was a pure pleasure. The location was superb, the owners are kind and generous with their suggestions and help and the 19th century mansion has been lovingly cared for and updated in the most thoughtful ways. This extraordinary place... More

The owners, Max and Beatrice, a brother and sister team, were welcoming and extremely accommodating. The apartment is gorgeous. The location is superb. The rooms are spacious and very, very comfortable. The beds are excellent. And you can't go wrong with any of Max's and Beatrice's recommendations for food, sights, transportation, etc. Really quite special. We expect to stay there... More
