You probably won't find a more central hotel in Florence, it in the middle of everything. What it lacks in size, it makes up for in charm. Nice breakfast. Clean with a comfortable bed. Due to it's small size I would not suggest this hotel for families with kids or for staying more than 2 nights.

The hotel is on the third floor ( served by a tiny lift). Being centrally placed within 3 minutes of the Dome it can be a bit noisy at night with local traffic from the surrounding roads. The room and en-suite were very small. Breakfast was good and the staff helpful.

Very good price, location good , quite close to station and attractions in Florence. Very small floor so be prepared to hear everything that happens on the floor. We could hear neighbours discussions through the wall. Breakfast was decidedly average . On a day we were only guests there was little choice, yesterday's food was re served. Found the hosts... More

The location of this hotel (2 minutes walk from the Duomo) and the affordable price are definitely its high points, but as soon as I sat on my bed I fell right through it (much to my family's amusement...and I am NOT overweight!) and they told me I would have to wait until the night porter came on duty later... This hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the main station although initially finding the hotel wasn't the easiest but it is in the same building as a da vinci museum. The hotel has a small lift which just about holds two people and small suitcases. This hotel is on one floor of a building and most of the rooms... More

This was my first experience of a hotel taking up only a couple of floors of a building. However, my friend and I shared a triple room which was big for us, our luggage and many shopping bags. The room was nicely decoprated and clean. We enjoyed the breakfast on offer before taking the streets to all the spectacular sightseeing... More

I can't deny the great location and affordable price tag, but the most memorable part of our 2 night stay was the huge number of mosquitoes in our room. We noticed several small blood stains on the walls, presumably previous guests' squashes, and were surprised to find several dead mosquitoes on the wall that had not been wiped away by... More

We stayed in the room Il Perseo on the 4th floor during September 2012. The hotel is very conveniently located, within walking distance of the central train station and all the main attractions in Florence. The Duomo was visible from our window across the rooftops and the hotel is surrounded by a variety of shops and restaurants (Pizzeria Little David... More

Great value in a city that is quite pricy, when it comes to accomodotion. Here location costs and beeing a few minute walk from Duomo, that is what you are paying for. Services are very basic (including free fast enough wi-fi) and if you feel you are not happy with that, you would do best to book from somewhere else.... More

4 adults given a room with a double and a three quarter bed which was not ideal. Given a camp bed for the second night. Great location, could have been cleaner. Wouldn't stay longer than a few days, but pleasant for a short stay.
