We found this spot at the last minute. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful. Room was 55 Euros and well worth it!! Very convenient to everything in this wonderful little and charming town. Don't miss it!!
Agreable place, easy to spot and somewhat not so much overcrowded, the 'bistecca alla fiorentina' was just a perfect piece of 800g for a hungry one, but the rice with asparagus would have sounded ridiculous if it would have had a taste at all - only its price was salty. Disapointing
We were traveling with a group of 18. We had our final dinner at this great restaurant. We had baked chicken with onions in a balsamic glace. It was heavenly. The atmosphere was beautiful too. We had great service for our rather large party too. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone going to San Gimignano.
When we arrived in San Gimignano we had not booked ahead and could not get a room in any of TA's recommended gaffs. We passed Il Pino restaurant and noticed that there were rooms available above.
