I stayed here for one night in November 2012. Excellent location if you want to stay near the train station (Basel SBB). Very friendly reception staff. Free ticket for public transportation. I had booked a six-bed-dorm, but I got an upgrate to a two-bed-room. Slept well. 2 Computers in the lobby for internet (free of charge).

We stopped in Basel for the night before catching our flight out of Switzerland. I didn't expect a YMCA to be so nice. The rooms were clean and modern, we had a great breakfast, it was in a good location. Highly recommended.
