Eular is central, for Basel standards economical and meets the moderate expectations. At the entrance the cafe-restaurants adds a charm to the hotel when filled with guests, reception area is somehow mix of everything, a bar on the right hand side right at the entrance, kitsch-like decor on the left hand side in the seating area and simple reception. I've stayed here on 5 or 6 occasions for business - great location and cosy rooms, great modern en suite bathrooms too. Expensive breakfast, but what you expect in Switzerland. Fine for business travel, but I probably would stay further out of Basel if I were traveling with my husband or as a family as the outer areas of Basel... More

What an awful place. No room service, in fact no service! When asked the question how do we get something to eat as we have been traveling and it is 5 minutes past midnight? The answer from the grumpy receptionist, 'There is nothing! We close! This is Basel, there is nothing.' Whilst remonstrating, 'This is a four star hotel in... More

Dear Hotel Euler Guest First we would like to thank you for staying with us. We are truly sorry, that you are not satisfied with your stay at our hotel and are very much surprised our receptionist gave you this poor anwswer. However it is true, in Basel the restaurants close the kitchen at 10.00-10.30 pm and take aways around... More

I've been staying here on business as I travel to Basel every two weeks. It's a great location for me. Next to the train station and near to my office. Perfect for a quick breakfast at the Starbucks next door (I think the breakfast in the hotel is very expensive for what it is). The rooms are good, but be... More

One night stay which was all too short. The hotel is a stone's throw walk from the main railway station and central Basel tram stop. A lovely room which was big enough for me despite it only having a single bed. I think I paid somewhere in the region of 80GBP which is excellent value when free internet and a... More

this hotels best advantage is location right next to the train station. otherwise for the hotel in this category and price i expect the cleanness, service and comfort to be inseparable part of their name. I stayed twice and would stay again. beautiful design, location...however didnt find any added value other than location as even though repeated stay no upgrade... More

I was upgraded to Hotel Euler from the cheaper hotel city inn. The room was fine, clean, spacious with TV and comfortable bed. I stayed in this hotel for three nights. The location is excellent, next door to the train station (Basel SBB and CFF), and with the tram hub on the door step.
