Lovely youth hostel, pretty average but very clean and mostly modern with pool tables and ping pong and internet connection. The location is impeccable with a parc and serene little church right beside it, and the Rhin River only a 2 minute walk away. The nearest tram stop is right down the street through the park, and the Ashenplatz and... more

Wonderful hostel in a great location (close to the river, 15 minute walk from the train station, and 10 minutes to downtown) in probably the most underrated city in Switzerland. Basel is beautiful.
