Hotel was close to lake and shopping rooms were on the small side but ok . There is no air conditioning opening window cools it off if you can sleep with the street noise . We were here May 2012 so it was not too hot yet , would not want to stay here July or August .

We stayed at this hotel for two nights during a Cosmos tour. We had two beds pushed together in a smallish room, but certainly more than adequate. The room included a flat screen TV and tight but functional and clean bathroom. The hotel lacked air conditioning, but the windows (without screens) opened and the room cooled off nicely at night.... nice friendly receptionist. room are decent size except for the bed which is a tad narrow. we stayed there for 1 night but location is good. We came down with shops around. Restaurant and breakfast was good

central located, average hotel with good Restaurant, clean rooms - partial already renovated, 1 minute from the lake in the middle of old town, shopping mile 1 minute away. surrounded by restaurants and some bars, parking in nearby public parking

We checked into Hotel Luzernhof, and found the reception staff to be snooty, no doubt because we had opted to stay in their cheaper (by about 60 Euros nightly) Annex, just down the street. We arrived amidst a bus load of tourists. The skeleton staff there were stretched. The laundromat machines only accepted the one Euro coins and the staff refused to provide change. When we finally got the coins from other hotel guests the machines didn't work properly. So the night was quite stressful trying to cope with the dodgy machines. The morning... More

The hotel is close enough to the downtown area that you can easily walk to everything you would want to see, especially the Lion Monument.
