This is the nicest, friendliest, most helpful, most pleasant hotel I have stayed in, maybe ever. I don't know where to start. This is formerly a hospital and student nurses residence. It is actually right on the edge of the Aare River. It's views are as Solothurn as it gets. Out of every window you see Solothurn and the Aare.... more
2 nights in October. Rather interesting location on the river just accros bridge from old town, but self-proclaimed 3 star star status not evident. No staff available on Sundays ( you get your key from lockbox outside front door to hotel and restaurant is closed) and this was not explained to me until the day before our arrival. "Full breakfast"... more
