My wife and I took a guided 3-country tour in August from the Edelweiss Lodge and Resort in Garmisch-Partenkirchen that stopped in the Hotel Kulm Restaurant for lunch. Beautiful panoramic vistas of the mountains and a picturesque train station not more than 300 metres from the dining deck.
