I have stayed at the Scheuble hotel many times. Form 2 day stays to 4 months stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's in the middle of downtown, has plenty of restaurants, shops, bars, etc really close to it. Whenever I am visiting Zurich this is the hotel for me.

This hotel is exceptionally located in terms of convenience to everything you would want (Hauptbahnhof, tram, main pedestrianized strip) and is about a two minute walk from the key nightlife area. Great city, great hotel! I enjoyed my stay in Scheuble. although the room was rather little , people were friendly, and the breakfast was amazing !

We stayed at this hotel for one night. The receptionist was very rude in booking rooms for us. The lift lights and the lift doors were not working, and we almost had a major accident while going up to our rooms. It's a pretty basic hotel with the amenities you'd expect of a mid-priced hotel in the center of a European city. Please note that the hotel charges per person staying in the room, which is unclear on their online booking page. We had to pay an extra 25 CHF per night than what we had planned.

The Scheuble is centrally located and has a lovely inner courtyard away from the traffic. We were travelling with our dog so having a grassy area to play was perfect. The hotel is clean and the staff is overall efficient, but the area during the night is populated by prostitutes. Not recommended if you travel with kids.
