I was a little worried because of some of the comments from reviewers but took a chance anyway because rooms were going fast the week we went.
My main priority was to have somewhere close to Centraal station because our flight came in at 20.40 and I didn't want any complex transfers.
Singel hotel is literally up the road and...

It was my first trip to Netherlands, so maybe some things are normal there, but my first impression wasn't too good. My single room was very small, cosy, the room was cleaned every day, but in the bathroom... it was too damp there 'cause of poor work of air-ventilation system I think and it wasn't cleaned at all for all...

Our second stay at the hotel, had a fantastic room, the staff were wonderful, again, very helpful and polite and had no problems taking care of our bags before we could check in and after we checked out, so we didn't have to carry our bag round. The cleaning staff make the rooms up perfectly, the location is perfect, close...

The hotel was very modern even though it's @an old building, The breakfast room was a really pleasant place to have the lovely brekkie that is provided. My friend took full advantage & had as much as he wanted. So, I cannot really understand the previous views...

As always, it's subjective as I was in a room that might be totally different to others, but what I had (Room 22 I think) was TINY. I appreciate that it used to be a Merchants House and it's lots of...

I stayed for 3 nights in November prior to embarking on a cruise. The reception staff were efficient, effective and most welcoming. Of cause the interior had it's constraints like most hotels in Europe, but this is what one would expect when wanting to experience the true Dutch
ambiance. The continental breakfast was substantial with sufficient fortification for a full...

Bathroom is the black point of the room, small and not very usefull. Beds are comfortables and the hotel isn't noisy. The street is quite and...
