The reservations I made were actually with Hotel Vondel, Roemer's sister hotel. But when I arrived, I was switched to Roemer because they said it was nice. Quiet area with a room with balcony and jacuzzy... If u are used to really big rooms maybe this one falls on the smaller end but it has everything in it. We stayed just for 1 night at the beginning of August. The park is short stroll away and very relaxing. We found an excellent restaurant for a reasonably priced dinner 5 mins walk away. We used the hop on hop off canal boats to tour all the sights on our list.Friendly helpful staff and an excellent whirlpool bath ! Recommended.
