I stayed here for one night in January. Its very easy to get to from the Centraal train station; when coming off the platforms, head down the tunnel in the opposite direction to the Station Hall. At the end, turn right and follow that road for about 5 minutes, until you come to a main road. Cross the main road... More

Great location, just around the corner from the central station. The staff are warm and helpful. Very basic hotel for the money. The room was cramped, noisy and very cold. Breakfast was included in the price. This was a buffet where you helped yourself. No coffee inside room, only tea. Only one connection to Wifi, no way to connect smartphone... More

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. My first reaction was to go online to find another hotel. Unfortunately we decided to tough it out. The positive for the hotel was the breakfast - good choice of toast, rolls, eggs, baked beans etc. The negative list is somewhat longer - the first thing we noted was the general appearance of... This hotel claims to be modern and 4 star. It is not modern and it is not 4 star. Room was very small and noisey-woken at 6am with passing trams. The large clock in the room was annoying. The breakfast items that were supposed to be warm, were cold. The location is not as central as the adverts would have... More

Well, it's that kind of hotels that are not too bad, though I can't believe it's a four star. OK, I should have expected something, thinking about the low cost of the room, but a four star hotel should anyway provide four star services. Some details: in three days, there was NO replacement of soaps in the bathroom and teabags... More

Spent two nights at this hotel in mid-February. Crown hotel is located north of the Centraal Station in Rotterdam and even farther north of the central city. As others have mentioned, there are two parts to this hotel - one old and one newer. If you reserve a standard room, you will be in the older part. If you reserve... More

In need of renovation there was a strong mouldy odour coming from the Bathroom and the dodgy worn out mattress and bedding had taken on the smell of the mould and made me feel not very 4 * for my 100 Euro for the night. There was also a barely functional TV it would switch of on its own or... More

the hotel is divided into two separate hotels, although this is not clearly mentioned in the reservation nor in the website: a (low qualit) 4 stars hotel, and a (low quality) 2 stars hotel. if yoou end in the two stars, and you expect to be in the 4 stars, then you remain a bit disappointed, as I have recently... Reception Ok, room Ok and relatively clean but need for fresh up, painting, replacing corroded tubes. The service in the small restaurant is depending on 1 lady what is also responsible for the bar. She is kind but you need patience. The hotel is value for money but at some point they will need to invest. The breakfast room is... More

I arrived at the hotel to be greeted by 3 receptionists which I thought was a bit over the top but assumed it might be a sign of the good service they were about to provide. I was given my key card and took the very slow lift up to the second floor and then followed the corridor around to... More
