Ruud & Marion, the Dutch owners have turned this into a wonderful romantic comfortable country house hotel with marvellous food. The facilities were excellent & it's worth dressing up for. The food which Ruud had pre-agreed a change for my dietary restrictions was 1st class. It was an excellent friendly up market experience as long as you can afford it.

This hotel has all of the necessary comfort. Big rainshower, soft beds, clean rooms, nice and friendly staff, a lot of parking available, good breakfast. Nothing negative to say. We spent a weekend in October in this hotel, and it was perfect. Very clean, very comfortable room in the new part of the hotel. There is also a sauna which we could use for free. This hotel has been fantastic. Nothing has been too much trouble for the staff. Would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area. Picturesque garden setting, short walk to the main St, rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. Food is delicious. Can not complement them enough
