We enjoyed staying at Anne's delightful B&B. Couldn't ask for a better location, walking distance to everything, restaurants, shops and sites. We arrived mid-morning and although our room was not quite ready, Anne allowed us to park on site, bring in on our luggage and spent a few minutes providing us with information about Brugge. The room was very nice,... More

I just stayed one night but definitely will be back! I had the delightful and stylish front room with its gorgeous bathroom. Enormous and comfortable bed. Charming sitting area downstairs. Lovely breakfast. Yoghurt, ham, cheese, eggs, croissant toast. Excellent local advice - but the other reviewers have said it all.

I am from Brugge and have been living in Norway for the past 12 years, but twice a year I bring my family to Brugge for a visit. On those occasions, staying at Anne's B&B has been a fantastic experience. Whether it is her hospitality, the fabulous breakfast (including food she buys at the best bakery in town) the fresh... One of those diamond finds that one feels so lucky to find and somehow its not in the top 5 on Trip Advisor which I cannot understand. It certainly should be as I cannot believe that there are so many better places in Bruges. Maybe its because it only has 3 rooms . Whatever, it is hard to fault. Its a... More

Our stay at B&B Den Witten Leeuw was amazing! Ann was so nice and had many helpful suggestions. We really wanted to have a "local" experience so we asked her to suggest restaurants off the beaten path that tourists just didn't go to. She came through in every situation! We will be coming back here many times in the future... More

Right in the very heart of Bruges. Charming room, comfortable beds, beautiful modern bathroom and a delicious breakfast. Most of all, what a wonderful hostess who was so helpful and gracious. We stayed only 2 nights and we were able to walk to everything we wanted to see in Bruges. This is a very small B & B and I... More

A very nice B&B. Ann was a great hostess. She gave us great recommendations and had a really nice breakfast spread (speculoos spread, meats, egg to order and very good homemade yogurt with fruit). It is right on a corner and you can hear the carriages as they pass, but I think that adds to the overall feel. Nice shower... More

The location is just right - roughly halfway between the train station, and the main square. It is right next door to De Halve Maan brewery (which a tour is recommended), and has a number of small restuarants and chocolatiers nearby (including Dumon, which I found to be my favourite). The area is still quiet enough though to ensure you... More

First impressions maybe that this is not the most impressive place to stay in Brugge. Fortunately appearances can be deceptive and behind the slightly austere facade lies a particularly warm welcome and a superb bed and breakfast. From the moment we met our host, Anne, any initial misgivings rapidly disappeared. She is the personification of a helpful and considerate host... More
