I stayed at Casa da Vista for a few days at the end of May. It's in a beautiful, peaceful setting, a short walk from the historic centre (about 10 minutes uphill). My room was spacious and comfortable, with a large terrace looking out to the moorish castle. Vipri was a great host and even baked some gluten free bread...

Casa da Vista is in a large garden with a swimming pool, with gorgeous views to the mountain and the palaces of Sintra. There are 3 double rooms and a suite with a kitchenette, all with en-suite bathrooms. The rooms have tall sloping ceilings, huge windows to enjoy the view, and black-out curtains to sleep in darkness. Wooden floors, a fridge, coffee/tea making facilities, Algotherm amenities, Free WiFi and led TVs with cable channels in the rooms. There is a wooden deck in front of the rooms as well as garden table and chairs for each room. The Cultural Heritage site, the Historical Center of Sintra, is within 500 meters with restaurants and shops, as well as the bus stop to the monuments. Casa da Vista is perfect for day tripping as well, as the Lisbon-Sintra railroad station is less than a kilometer away.
